The historic lodge offers a little piece of Cooke City History to its visitors. With new motel rooms, cozy cabins with full kitchens and living rooms, as well as its seasonal (winter & summer) restaurant, Antlers Tavern and Taps. Antlers Tavern and Taps opened June 2019, offering 15 Tap beers from all over Montana as well as by the bottle. All served with made to order beef or bison burgers, pizza, and fresh salads. Beartooth Powder Guides offers ski and snowboard guiding services for the mountains that surround Cooke City. Snowfall is reliable and the options for various skiing and snowboard objectives are extensive! All ability levels are welcome, and rental gear will be available this winter. Prefer a snowmobile tour? We have you covered! Summer activities include guided hiking and fishing excursions.

K Bar Z Guest Ranch, just 24 miles from Cooke City, MT is the jumping off place for horseback riding at it’s best! We can take you on anything from a 1 hour trail ride to a seven day fishing or hunting pack trip. Just a four hour ride to our base camp in the Absaroka Wilderness and some of the most desirable big game hunting available. Here you may have the once in a lifetime experience of “photographing or bagging the big one”. If staying in a rustic cabin is more your idea of roughing it, then we have 7 log cabins for you to choose from. Nestled in the heart and soul of the Rocky Mountains, Skyline Guest Ranch provides easy access to the sights and wonders of Yellowstone National Park, the Beartooth scenic byway and Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness. We operate as an authorized concessionaires by permit of Yellowstone National Park and Gallatin National Forest.
Top of the World Store sits at 9400 FT. along the 69 mile scenic Beartooth Highway (US 212) which is designated as an All-American Road. It is 38 miles from Red Lodge, Montana and 25 miles from Cooke City, Montana (which is 6 miles from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park.)

The cabin features gorgeous hardwood floors, tiled kitchen counters, a clawfoot tub/shower, and a cozy wood stove. We provide ample firewood, but the cabin also has (yet never needs) supplemental heat. The first floor bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the loft has log framed beds (one queen and a trundle with two singles).
