The Chief Joseph Highway is OPEN to Cooke City and Silver Gate.
The 8 mile section of road over Colter Pass is CLOSED at Pilot Peak Campground. Access to the Cooke City Area from the Chief Joseph Highway will be limited to snowmobiles and snow coaches until spring.
The Beartooth Highway is OPEN for the season!
It snows every month of the year on the pass, so make sure to check conditions on both the Montana side and the Wyoming side.
